Venues Event Management, specialists in event management, conference and meeting placement and accommodation services, has recently appointed Darren Scott as Client Development Manager for one of their key accounts.

Darren’s main focus will be engaging with the key stakeholders at the client company. This will maintain the excellent relationships already built within this account and develop more so as to continue to grow the business.

Darren came from a leisure industry background before originally joining Venues Event Management in 2000 working his way up to Business Unit Manager and then Client Manager. He left in 2007 to pursue an opportunity at a larger agency, but soon decided it wasn’t the right environment for him. Darren comments:

"The grass wasn't greener after I left Venues Event Management. I missed their passion and enthusiasm for the business. Luckily an opportunity arose for me to return looking after one of the company's largest clients. I can now continue to help the company develop and support its continued success."
