Staff retention is important for all companies but inevitably, some staff will always move on. This is often for a number of reasons, a career change, advancement or a higher salary. Sometimes it’s just because the grass seems greener. Staff from Venues Event Management are proving there is ‘no place like home’ as the leavers keep coming back!

Venues Event Management is an agency specialising in event management, conference placement and accommodation booking. Based on an organic milk farm near Swindon, Wiltshire, the company boasts a varied high profile client base and an incredible amount of passion and individuality about everything they do.

Let’s take Laura for example; she left and returned within 3 weeks! Or what about Julie, she worked for the company nearly twenty years ago when they first started trading and has just returned to the accounts department. We also have Khamsin, who went travelling to Australia for a year, but re-joined us when back on British soil. Debbie left to go to a competitor agency but returned five years later, as did Darren but he returned within 18 months saying the culture, ethos and working practices of the other agency was not as fulfilling and motivational as Venues Event Management.
