Innovative approach impresses Hyundai

Venues Event Management is delighted to announce it has been awarded a contract with Hyundai Motor UK Ltd for the provision of booking conference facilities and business accommodation.

Despite the negative effects the economic down turn has had on the automotive industry, there is still a lot of activity and opportunities for future growth. Hyundai has recently launched its new small family car, the i30 and a new Supermini, the i20. Both were shortlisted in their respective categories at the What Car? Car of the Year awards 2009.

Like many companies, Hyundai are looking at how they can improve efficiencies and reduce costs without compromising on the quality of service they receive from their suppliers. Venues Event Management had been working with Hyundai for three years along with several other suppliers. They were contacted in January with the opportunity to win a contract covering departments they had previously worked with and new ones including training, a large part of an automotive companies meetings and events roster.

The training department of Hyundai Motor UK Ltd was very impressed with the cost savings and improved efficiencies Venues Event Management presented. This was backed up by excellent feedback from elsewhere in the company for their previous work.

News on the Hyundai contract win came in the same week Venues Event Management were awarded Best Event Management Company over 40 employees at the Meetings and Incentive Travel Industry Awards.
