A Well Travelled Addition to the Team

Venues Event Management is pleased to announce another new addition to the growing sales team. Kerry-Ann Markham joins the company in the role of Client Development Manager and brings with her a wealth of experience from the travel and hospitality industries.

Kerry began her career working as a travel consultant for what is now First Choice. She then went onto work as Assistant Manager and then Manager of Travel House, Wales’s largest independent travel agency.

Kerry’s other previous roles include: Sales Executive for a Ramada Jarvis tour operator and Business Development Manager for online accommodation specialists Hotel Connect. She was also Sales Manager at the Village Hotel Bournemouth, Key Account Manager for Worldwide travel wholesaler Travel 2 and had just completed a six month project for Flight Centre when she joined Venues Event Management.

Kerry-Ann will be working with and developing a broad range of clients including: Balfour Beatty, Honda, Smith’s News, RWE and the newly acquired Shaw Trust.

When asked what attracted her to the role at Venues Event Management Kerry-Ann commented:

"I was originally interested in working for Venues Event Management because they have such a great reputation within the industry. From the moment I walked through the door, I was impressed with how unique the company was. They were very professional whilst still creating a friendly and open atmosphere. I am really excited about this role as it is very much a fresh challenge and the opportunity to work with some fantastic companies."
