JTI choose Venues Event Management for Annual Conference

Venues Event Management recently assisted in the organisation of the Annual Customer and Trade Marketing Operations Conference for Japan Tobacco International (JTI).

The event was awarded to Venues Event Management after a successful RFP and presentation. The company beat strong competition to win the event, which took place at Beaumont House in Windsor on 21st January 2010.

JTI is the world’s third largest international tobacco manufacturer. The purpose of this conference and awards dinner for 400 people was to instil the company values and to share the Sales and Marketing objectives for 2010.

The scope of the work required from Venues Event Management included: pre, onsite and post event and delegate management. The agency also had to create the event theme, logo and strap line as well as production including set design and audio-visual, entertainments, decoration and event collateral.

On the panel that selected Venues Event Management was JTI Buying Manager Amanda Hensby. After the event, Amanda commented on how it went and why JTI chose Venues Event Management:

"We originally awarded this event to Venues Event Management because they clearly understood the brief and understood JTI's core values. This understanding facilitated more creative ideas that were really well received by our team. Venues Event Management’s involvement in the conference was integral in making it a success."
