Domino goes to Vienna
On her continuing mission to travel the world and seek out all the best places to stay and visit, Domino has been to Vienna.
As soon as her plane had landed, Domino was whisked away to the Le Méridien Vienna. In the heart of the city, Le Meridien offers 269 guest rooms plus 25 junior and executive suites. Before Domino slept soundly in a bed by French design studio Ligne Roset she explored the hotels eight high profile meeting spaces which can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 300 guests.
The following day Domino visited the sumptuous surroundings of the Hotel Imperial originally created in 1863 as the Vienna residence of the Prince of Württemberg. This is now a fantastic five star property combining traditional Viennese glamour with impressive conference and meeting facilities.
Next on the whistle stop tour was a visit to the Palais Ferstel, 3 unrivalled historical buildings perfect for exceptional events, banquets and conferences.
Before heading back, Domino managed to squeeze in a trip to The Vienna Prater, an amusement park for many, place of nostalgic dreams for some, oasis of greenery for almost everyone – and the location of the Giant Ferris Wheel, one of Vienna’s most famous symbols. Lucky she’s not scared of heights!
