Adventures of a jute bag

Some of you may have been lucky enough to receive one of our branded jute bags over the last couple of years, but what happens to our jute bags once they leave the farm?

We are launching a competition to find the most unusual destination our jute bags have visited. To enter, simply e-mail a photograph of your Venues Event Management bag in a strange place (explaining where it is if not obvious) to: becky.guest@venuesevent.com by 30th November 2011.

The best ones will receive Marks and Spencer vouchers, so get sending your pictures!

Book The Park Royal and adopt an animal

To coincide with QHotels recently being awarded AA Eco Hotel Group of the Year, the Park Royal Hotel in Cheshire is offering an unusual incentive for clients who place bookings through Venues Event Management. Ideally located near Chester, Liverpool and Manchester, The Park Royal was originally built in 1831 as a vicarage to St. Matthew’s Church. Amongst its feaures are 146 bedrooms and 15 conference and meeting rooms for up to 400 people.

For any new bookings made for arrival between 10th October 2011 and 31st January 2012 for a minimum of 40 delegates, The Park Royal will adopt an animal in your name at Chester Zoo.

Silver Investors in People award

Venues Event Management have not only retained their Investors in People accreditation for the 15th consecutive year, but have been awarded the Silver Accreditation.

Claire Levey, the Investors in People Assessor commented:
"Venues Event Management thoroughly deserves its advanced recognition as it is just one of those companies that naturally stands out from the crowd. Investors in People is an invaluable tool but to produce real results it has to be in the hands of people who are genuinely committed to adopting best practice principles and continuous improvement. Chief Executive Anita Lowe’s vision, boundless energy and attention to detail inspires everyone who works for her."
