Making your event sustainable
Venues Event Management are proud to announce they are working towards the BS 8901 Sustainability Management Systems for Events accreditation.
BS 8901 is the new British Standard that has been developed specifically for the events industry with the purpose of helping the industry to operate in a more sustainable manner.
It requires organisations to identify and understand the effects their activities have on the environment, on society and on the economy, both within the organisation and the wider economy; and put measures in place to minimise the negative effects.
Domino goes to Dublin
On her continuing mission to travel the world and seek out all the best places to stay and visit, Domino has been to Dublin.
First stop was the Crowne Plaza, Blanchardstown, Dublin. This is Ireland's newest 4 Star luxury hotel and offers a unique location setting this hotel apart from all other hotels in Dublin whether it’s for business, leisure or shopping.
Next was the Jameson Distillery. Set in the heart of Ireland’s thriving capital city, this attraction captures the imagination and spirit of Ireland.
During her visit, Domino was taken through the entire process of whiskey production. Her journey was completed with a visit to the Jameson Bar where she enjoyed the ultimate whiskey tasting experience.
Finally Domino rested her weary paws at Clontarf Castle. Offering a perfect blend of a boutique and luxury hotel, this property is located just 10 minutes from the heart of Dublin City Centre and 5 miles from Dublin Airport. Clontarf Castle is tucked away in a tranquil setting surrounded by fabulous golf courses and the sounds of lapping waters from the Irish Sea. All meeting rooms offer the latest technology and create a unique and sophisticated environment catering for small functions to large conferences.
